Google Not Shutting Down Blog Service

After the termination of Google Plus, Blogger users are also becoming apprehensive about their position on the platform. However, Google sets the record straight by stating that they don’t plan to close their free blogging service anytime soon.

A few days ago, Matt Navarra, a digital media consultant observed that the Blogger’s Twitter account became private suddenly. From his account, he tweeted his concern, which as expected – outraged the Blogger.com community who has been using the content management system (CMS) for many years.

To separate reality from rumors, DigitalInformationWorld got in touch with Google and inquired about the future of the service. In response, Soraya Lambrechts, a spokesperson from Blogger clearly replied that the company has no plans to sunset its blogging platform.

The spokesperson also clarified regarding the private Twitter account by commenting, “The account is temporarily locked, but the team will be back soon.”

Although Google has a long history of killing its products, the current statement shows that the tech giant will continue the Blogger site.
