All my watches have stopped, need new batteries, show signs of wear after 2yrs. So I decided on something better. After a lot of research selected a Citizen, .".Echo Drive" watch. It has no batteries but a capacitor instead. A Capacitor can hold a certain amount of electrical power It is charged by light, any light. It is stainless steel and has a date feature. Big watch very easy to read and you can see it in the dark. Water resistant. It is heavy. They have smaller women's models. It spent a long time in Ca.Customs. Bought it from WorldofWatches in N.J. marked down from $195.00 to $103.98. Could not buy this model in Canada. Very little selection. and the prices were over $300.00. I hope this beats buying a new watch every couple of years for $25.00-$30.00.
