People flying into Orlando International Airport from out of the country  will be able to get through U.S. Customs more quickly thanks  to a new $400,000 system unveiled to the media on Wednesday. Ten electronic kiosks were put into operation that allow  travelers to enter  information such as the size of their  party, the purpose of their visit  and other administrative data and have it electronically  transmitted to Customs officers rather than show them paperwork.   Airport and Customs officials estimate the kiosks could cut the  time dealing with an agent to 30 seconds. OIA is the first airport to offer the service, which is available to American and Canadian citizens, as well as visitors from 37 countries who do not need a visa.   All of it is activated through a touch screen.Other airports, among them Chicago. Over the first six months of 2011, a Russia-based gang of technically adept gangsters successfully stole over $3 million from American organizations and individuals. The group is led by a shady character known only by the title Soldier. According to a TechWorld article, a Trend Micro , and a much more thorough Trend Micro report, Soldier is a young man in his early 20s, residing in Russia. He appears to have an accomplice in Hollywood. During those six months, the gang stole an average of approximately $17,000 a day.
