These mods may help: If you are using GOOGLE CHROME Click upper right chevron  - Settings - tick "Show Advanced settings..." @ bottom - Privacy - Content settings Tick * : Show images Allow sites to run JavaScript"  (Plug-in's) Click to play Do not allow pop-up's Do not allow any site to track my physical location Ask me when a site wants to show desktop notifications (recommended) Do not allow any site to disable the mouse cursor "Web intents"? is a decision you must make.  IMHO this is more spying and potential security risks. Do not allow sites to access my camera and microphone.  (You decide if this is needed for some feature)

INTERNET USAGE- HOW MUCH DO YOU PAY?

Image
Have you ever wondered? How does my Internet usage apply to the number of gigabits that I pay for. It's a combination of downloads and uploads. If you use Roku and Netflix everyday it's going to increases your usage considerably because streaming is calculated in your download time. Not as much as you may think as an example. Three episodes of the very popular British TV series "House Of Cards" will use up 1 GB approximately. Currently for July we have used about 75% of our allotted usage of "35 GB's." Afraid of going over - no problem they usually advise you by email that you are approaching your limit. Then you can up your usage or pay $1.50 per GB over your set limit. We tend to use "Roku" quite a bit as the same shows are repeated almost indefinitely by Bell Dish Network and then of course there are the endless, mind numbing commercials..  We have cut Bell  back to just the essentials as Roku does not have live streaming like CNN. After 58 Years and Still looks Great - Compare the 1955 Chev with the 2014 Cruze

Image
2014 Chev Cruze The 1955 Chev you could seat six people. Now 4 skinny Orientals have problems. They had V-8 's that could get you up and going. They had comfortable seats. We had a 1954 Plymouth that was just like like sitting in your Easy-boy.You could drive for miles in that car and never feel tired. You could change the plugs, points, condenser. Change the oil and filter, do      loads of stuff with very little mechanical knowledge.           I recall  Ray helping install a back up light on that car. Try doing any of those fixes on the new ones. Now you need the instruction book to open  the hood if you can understand the tech.who wrote the book. P.S. Did I forget the 1950's had head room. A guy  my size over 6 ft. could easily slide into the  Drivers seat without knocking his golf hat off, and still have a couple of inches clearance.

What Will Canadian Big Oil Companies Do?

Image
The history behind Butchart Gardens is that it was an old limestone quarry owned by Robert and Jennie Butchart family, who came to the west coast of Canada because of rich mineral deposits needed for cement.  By 1909,  the limestone quarry was exhausted, and Jennie set about converting it into the Sunken Garden, which was completed in 1921. The fact that the gardens are still owned and operated by the same family 100 years+ after being created is a beautiful display of a family business.
