Why You Need Computer Protection

Image
What Is a Computer Virus? A computer virus attaches itself to a program or file enabling it to spread from one computer to another, leaving infections as it travels. Like a human virus, a computer virus can range in severity: some may cause only mildly annoying effects while others can damage your hardware, software or files. Almost all viruses are attached to an executable file, which means the virus may exist on your computer but it actually cannot infect your computer unless you run or open the malicious program. It is important to note that a virus cannot be spread without a human action, (such as running an infected program) to keep it going. Because a virus is spread by human action people will unknowingly continue the spread of a computer virus by sharing infecting files or sending emails with viruses as attachments in the email. Fast Facts: Attaches to an executable file, requires human action to spread. What Is a Worm? A worm is similar to a virus by design an

Rain Barrels

What is the best method to Draw-Out the collected Rain water from my Barrel? That would be through drip irrigation. It is the most effective way to water, because the water is delivered right to the roots of the plants where it can be slowly absorbed into the soil. This reduces runoff and spreads the water out into the soil better promoting root growth. Water is also not lost due to evaporation. To ensure enough pressure to move the water through the drip system, the base of your barrel needs to be elevated at least two feet above the highest point in your garden, to maintain the pressure level when the barrel is less than full.  We made a mistake by not having the barrels high enough - Drip hoses need approximately 13 P.S.I. to function properly.

Back In Business

I'm back in business, after many days of screwing around trying to get that old software to work, with a lot of expletive deleteives finally found out. - I had a camera battery that was just about   dead - unforunately my camera is not new   and does not have any indication of a bad    battery or a nearly dead one. - Win 7 has a Live Photo Gallery Software    that sees any camera plugged into it's USB port.    Viola !!!! all my pictures were downloaded      automatically. On my computer you will hear    a clunk sound and when you check my Computer,    there they are. It was a program I never used as   I'm familiar with MSN Paint. That's my story and I'm    sticking to it.

Lost Camera Drivers

Image
Blog needs updating. My camera connection to the computer is down. The outdated software just doesn't compute in  Windows 7 . Drivers are outdated and the camera company was taken over by another who will not or does not care to supply them. They would like you to buy a new camera. I have not quit looking but the progress right now is very slow. Cheers.PeterL
