Lake Nipissing Trout Lake The City of North Bay (population approx 54,000) draws its drinking  water from Trout Lake. North Bay's urban core is located primarily between  Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake, although the city limits contain the  lake's entire northern shore.   Lake Nipissing is the third-largest lake in Ontario. It is relatively  shallow for a large lake, with an average depth of only 4.5 m (15 ft).  Our water bill is over $76.00 a month, how much water  do we use, about $10.00 worth. Let your grass "sleep it off".   Is your lawn a little yellowish  or brown during the Summer?  Don't worry ...  this is called  'dormancy' and it's how your lawn protects itself against  the heat.  It's true ...  so, when the weather turns hot and  dry, let your lawn sleep.  This means no watering, no  mowing and no foot traffic.  And don't worry ...  your lawn will awaken soon enough. Water early! Watering in the morning means less water is  lost to evaporation.Water 2.5 cm a week, including rainfall.   Most people overwater, yet experts say you only need  2.5 cm (1 inch) of water, a week, including rainfall,  maintain a vibrant healthy lawn. Use a rain barrel ...  Don't let storm water go to waste.   Make sure the downspouts from your home's eaves  troughs are disconnected from the sewer system and  instead drain into a rain barrel, ...

Hulu allows access to much of their content for free on their desktop computers. This typically includes currently-airing shows and some archival material. However, if you have a cable TV account Hulu will restrict certain content, and require that you connect your cable provider account to Hulu in order to allow you to access that content. Remember: Hulu Plus used to be the branding the company used for the pay services, but in April of 2015 they dropped it to consolidate all of their offerings under the Hulu banner , so keep that in mind if you’re looking to subscribe to what just about everyone still refers to as Hulu Plus. Netflix provides a massive library of television shows that have already ended, as well as previous seasons of many currently running shows from a broad variety of networks (except HBO, sorry). One note about Netflix’s streaming offerings is that they can change month to month as licensing agreements expire, so a show you’re watching one day might no...

The "Wicked Witch " jumped back on her broom and leaves Alberta booed  by Albertan's who shot down her efforts to have natural gas heating removed from Ontario Homes and use electric heating. The cost per home owner about $10,000 for conversion never mind the double to triple cost of electricity heating. Also a big loss to Alberta Gas Suppliers who are hurting right now. What a dumb proposal.

Trump threatens Canadian trade: Ronald Reagan supported the Canada-U.S. and George H.W. Bush the North American free-trade agreements. Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were free traders, and Barack Obama launched trade talks with Europe and Pacific nations. But the free-trade consensus has broken down. Ms. Clinton, who is almost certain to win the Democratic presidential nomination, confronts both Democratic challenger Bernie Sanders, who opposes free trade from the left, and Mr. Trump, who on Tuesday called NAFTA “in the history of the world the single worst trade deal ever done.” In consequence, Ms. Clinton has become more hawkish on trade, saying she opposes the Trans Pacific Partnership as currently negotiated. Trade represents two-thirds of Canada’s GDP, and three-quarters of that trade is with the United States. If the Trump/Sanders opposition to free trade becomes entrenched, Canada will suffer more than most from the rising protectionist tide.  English Canada was pa...
