On the same day Rob Ford voted against honouring Nelson Mandela, another famous world leader chimed in on the mayor, with former U.S. president Bill Clinton having a few laughs at Ford’s expense on a late night comedy show. “I will say this: He has absolutely destroyed every stereotype people have about Canadians,” Clinton said on the Jimmy Kimmel Live program Wednesday. “The Canadians are upbeat, optimistic, can-do, they are embracing, they’re inclusive… “Everything I ever believed about Canadians, ol’ Rob has proved that you can’t be stereotyped positive or negative, I guess,” the 42nd president of the United States, no stranger to political scandal himself, said.
